Greg Adair has been involved with live bands & studio recording on various genres of music, including country, rock, blues and gospel, since his teenage years. Through those years, he has had the pleasure of playing alongside such acts as Dale Watson, Marty Stuart, Emmylou Harris, Rhett Akins in Country, and Eve 6, Spin Doctors, Molly Hatchet and Blackfoot on the Rock scene. 

 

He currently manages and plays for Rivermist, a Classic Rock/ Variety/ Dance/ Party band from Fayetteville, NC. He previously also toured with Classic Country band The Malpass Brothers for almost two years, 2015-2016. 

 

Since February 2018, he now makes his living completely in music, because other than booking popular this popular band 60-70 shows per year, he has made quite a name for himself as an Entertainment Coordinator, and trusted music businessman all over his hometown area. Greg created and is running popular Concert Series type events (Rock'n On The River since 2018, Gates Four Concert Series new in 2021), and has booked all entertainment for Cumberland County Fair for going on 11 years, as well as coordinating music for other local and regional Associations with their events, as needed. 

 

On a personal level, Greg has been voted "Drummer of the Year" by Carolina Country Music Awards 2 straight years. Greg has been married to his beautiful wife, Rhonda for 39 years, and has two wonderful adult sons and Daughter-in-Laws, Devin (wife Paige) and Kyle (wife Kasey), a beautiful granddaughter, Kinley (PK), and his furbaby, 9 year old Boston Terrier, Lulu, completing his adorable family.
